Ginger: How was your Mother's Day?
Janet: Oh, it was just fine. How was yours?
Ginger: Pretty good..at least this year I didn't get any useless
or stupid gifts. Did you ever get a gift that you just hated?
Janet: Yeah, one year I got one of those talking scales. The
first thing it said to me was, "One of you has to get off!"

A woman working in a department store as a clerk is showing
my wife a new electrical gadget. "I guarantee you," the clerk
says, "this'll pay for itself."

My wife says, "Good. When it does, send it over."

Here is one of Aj's Grand Aunt Mabel's recipes...
It is for Peanut Butter Parfait sauce. It's very sweet and rich,
but that's the way 'uh-huh uh-huh' Mabel liked things.

Peanut Butter Swirls (Sauce)

1 Cup Brown Sugar           1 Tblsp Butter or Margarine
1/3 Cup Milk               1/4 Cup Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Lt Corn Syrup          Vanilla Ice Cream

In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter & milk.
Cook & stir over medium heat until sugar disolves & butter melts. Remove
from heat. Add peanut butter. Beat until smooth with rotary beater. Cool.
In parfait glasses, alternate layers of ice cream and sauce beginning with
ice cream and ending with sauce. Top with crushed peanuts. Serves 4.
